Prince George's County resident Michael Andre Evans, of Oxon Hill, was shot and killed in the 3800 block of 9th Street in Southeast DC on Sunday, Oct. 30, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
Investigators said that shortly after 1 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, members of the Seventh District responded to the block, where there were reports of gunshots that rang out in the area.
Upon arrival, officers located Evans with a fatal gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has been transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy.
No information about a potential suspect or motive has been released by investigators.
